Stefan Askenase (1896 - 1985) performs Chopin's Sonata in B minor, Op. 58, first movement. Askenase recorded this work for Deutsche Grammophon in 1951-52.
Chopin composed this work in 1844 and dedicated it to Countess Emilie de Perthuis.
